Truck Delays Impact European Transit.
Long queues of freight vehicles, up to 400 trucks per day, are forming at border crossings between Belarus and Poland. With daily throughput reportedly limited to around 20 vehicles per checkpoint, the situation has caused significant transit delays.
The congestion follows partial closures and heightened inspection procedures on several routes, affecting international transportation and relocation logistics between Kazakhstan, Central Asian countries, Belarus, and the European Union. Industry observers expect the disruption to continue through the end of the year, as November and December traditionally mark peak freight and relocation activity.
