Tashkent Housing Market: More Supply, Expats' Top Picks Remain
Tashkent’s housing market has become more accessible thanks to an ongoing increase in new apartment construction since 2023. The added supply has improved options for corporate transferees and expatriates, especially in a market that was previously tight.
While rental prices remain stable, some central districts — including Mirabad, Yakkasaray, and parts of Yunusabad and Mirzo-Ulugbek — are seeing renewed demand. The market now offers more modern, high-tech apartments, though standalone houses are still scarce.
Among expats, demand remains high for premium residential complexes such as Mirabad Avenue, NRG Oybek, Gardens, Boulevard Residence, and Gabus — particularly in the popular Shevchenko Street area.
