Montenegro: New Visa Requirements from 1 November 2026
From 1 November 2026, Montenegro will change its visa regime for nationals of several countries as part of the country's further alignment with EU visa policy.
The new visa requirements will apply, among others, to nationals of China, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
At the same time, Montenegro is expanding access to visa applications through VFS Global centres. Applications can already be submitted in several countries, including Türkiye, the UAE, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, with further expansion planned to China, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and other locations.
