Uzbekistan: Visa-Free for US
Uzbekistan is introducing visa-free regime for citizens of United States of America starting from 1 January 2026. The corresponding President’s decree was officially published on November 3rd.
According to the decree, visa-free regime will be established with a right to stay of up to 30 days from the date of entry into the country.
This step has been taken to further stimulate economic ties between the countries, as well as to attract tourists. The decision continues Uzbekistan's general policy of recent months: in accordance with the October resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, visa-free regime for up to 30 days is already in effect for citizens of Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Qatar, China, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
