Uzbekistan: Golden Visas For Foreign Nationals
Uzbekistan introduced “Golden Visas” – a new residence permit for foreign nationals with up to 5 years validity. The corresponding decree was issud on April 18 and has come into force starting June 1, 2025.
The main condition for the new residence permit type is a one-off payment of USD 250,000 for the principal permit holder, and USD 150,000 per each accompanying family member. This type of residence permit does not require purchase of property in Uzbekistan.
The rules for renewal of this residence permit are yet to be published.
