Poland: online-only residence permit filings
Starting January 2026, Poland requires all temporary and long-term residence permit applications to be submitted exclusively online through the new Moduł Obsługi Spraw (MOS) portal, replacing paper applications.
Applicants will need a Trusted Profile or electronic signature to log in, complete forms, upload digital documents. Attachments provided by employers will also need to be signed electronically.
Once application is verified and approved by the immigration office, it will be possible to download and print a certificate of submission, which replaces the passport stamp. After that , applicant will be summoned to submit fingerprints and a specimen signature and, if necessary, provide additional documents. If approved, applicant will be notified about collecting your residence card.
