Kyrgyzstan: visa-free regime for the Gulf States nationals

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has announced a visa-free regime for citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Kingdom of Bahrain arriving for short-term purposes (tourism, business, or private purposes). The changes came into force on January 4, 2025.

Citizens of these countries are now allowed to stay in Kyrgyzstan without obtaining immigration permits for a total of 180 days within a 360-day period.

The Ministry emphasizes the necessity of obtaining visas and other immigration permits for long-term purposes (such as work or study). It also highlights that these changes aim to further stimulate tourism and enhance Kyrgyzstan's investment and business attractiveness.
