Kazakhstan’s 2025 Worker Quota
Please be informed that the Ministry of Labour of Kazakhstan has approved quota numbers for employment of foreign workers in Kazakhstan in 2025.
The quota was set to 0.2% of the total labour force, which amounts to 14,879 slots, distributed among various regions and categories of employees.

Who may be affected?
Companies, which submitted requests for quota allocation in 2024.
Intermark comment
Quotas in Kazakhstan are to be obtained by companies in the year preceding the employment. Companies seeking to employ foreign personnel in 2026 will need to submit a request for quota allocation this year. The requests will be accepted in the period from August 1 till October 1.
