Kazakhstan announces start date of visa-free agreement with Vietnam

We would like to inform you that starting from May 25, 2024 citizens of Kazakhstan and Vietnam will be mutually exempt from obtaining visas for a 30-day period, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. 

What document introduces the changes? 

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on exemption from visa requirements for holders of national passports, dated August 21, 2023. 

What are the changes? 

Citizens of both countries who are holders of national passports will be exempt from obtaining visas for entry, exit, transit, and temporary stay in the territory of the other state for up to 30 calendar days from the date of entry. The cumulative period of stay may not exceed 90 days out of 180 days.

Citizens of Kazakhstan and Vietnam planning mutual trips.
