Transportation restrictions in Russia and Intermark solutions

Please be informed that on October 1, 2022 Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree prohibiting freight transportation in Russia by companies from other countries, which imposed transportation restrictions against Russia. The list of such states includes EU countries, Great Britain, Norway and Ukraine. The ban will be in effect from October 10, 2022 to December 31, 2022.

Despite the restrictions, Intermark anticipated a response and implemented an  action plan to address these challenges.

Our company continues to carry out the logistics and delivery process efficiently. We have developed an effective mode of transportation, using vehicles with Russian and Belarusian registration plates in Russia and Belarus, and cars with European license plates in the EU. There may be slight delays in transit time – no more than 1-2 weeks. The cost of transportation may also increase slightly due to the new regulations.

We are well prepared for the challenges and will keep you posted on any new developments. Count on us!

“We have been anticipating this situation for a long time and have found new options to face difficulties and adapt to a new reality. These options have been pre-tested, therefore we continue to work in the standard mode”.

Please note that, due to restrictions, prices may be subject to change and transit times may be increased.

If you have any questions regarding the situation, please, contact us.
